Privacy notice
This notice explains what happens to the details you give us when you apply to join London Coffee Club. Applications are reviewed by Ria before admission to the WhatsApp community.

London Coffee Club is run by Ria Vaghela in London. You can contact us at riavaghela@londoncoffeeclub.co.uk.
What we collect when you ask to join
Your full name, email address, WhatsApp number, where you live at the moment (your city or area), how you heard about the club, your LinkedIn link, and what you tell us about why you’d like to join.
Why we use it
To review your application, verify your LinkedIn profile, contact you about your request and, if approved, help you join the club’s WhatsApp group. Applying does not create a website account or sign you up for a newsletter. We rely on the consent you give on the application form; you can withdraw it by emailing us.
Who sees it
Your application is saved in the website’s WordPress dashboard and a notification is sent to the club’s email inbox. Ria and authorised website administrators can access applications to review requests or maintain the website. Hostinger provides website hosting, and Google Workspace provides the club’s email service. If you join the WhatsApp group, your phone number and messages may be visible to other participants. Do not include sensitive personal information in your application.
How long we keep it
Until we have reviewed your request, and for as long as you are a member after that. If your request isn’t accepted, or you leave the club, we delete your details within 12 months.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, or have them deleted. Email us and we’ll take care of it. If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
WordPress uses cookies for website administration and sign-in. Event booking takes place on Ticket Tailor, which has its own privacy notice and cookie settings. Instagram and WhatsApp also have their own privacy policies. Opening these services takes you outside this website.
